Paul, I cannot help you with your sump as my Rover motor was already installed when I bought my Mk2- 2500. I maybe can help when you come to other modifications as I have done quite a few to the running gear and carburation, brakes ect. My motor was mounted high on Cheavy engine mounts to meet the strict modifications regulations Terry
