Hello Peter,

I don't know the answer but have some thoughts.

With the blades on the screen, are the (new) springs really pressing down on the glass. I have bent arms before to increase the spring pressure, i.e., put a bow in them.

What speed are the wipers?; I find that in really heavy rain I need the high speed on the two speed wiper set up.
