On the same sort of subject I use Rain X on my Triumph - it's available from Halfords and other car stores. You just apply it then polish it off with a little water and it leaves a thin film on the glass that water can not stick too. The result is that at speeds over 30mph the water starts to sheet off the windscreen. At motorway speeds it is possible not have the windscreen wipers on at all! Hope this is useful!
