So, what about an asthmatic 2500S with a Chris Witor Cam (similar to 308778 but with more lift) and a compression of 9:1? Will this be better than a PI in standard form? Has anybody got an S out there with this cam? How good is performance and does the engine actually rev, rather than running out of breath at 4000? And if not, will it with a 6-3-1 manifold, single silencer Witor exhaust and a lightened flywheel? I plan to rebuild the 2500S engine we have in the garage, cause my 2000 engine is getting a little tired and ultimately want to go to PI with a TR5 cam, but can't afford to do this yet, so I think I will be rebuilding the S engine with the above set up (possibly taking it out to 2.7 with Mazda pistons)
