A decent cam with correctly jetted HS6's does wonders for a 2500S and the 9:1 CR will be a useful improvement without the danger of pinking. (it may run on a bit though)

The 6-3-1 exhaust will help torque from about 3000 rp onwards. Expect about 135 - 145 bhp (flywheel) and a rev range from 1500 - 5800

Try dolomite sprint (BCN) or BCM needles for the carbs.

A hour or two on a rolling road that understands SU's will always make a big difference on a non-standard engine and will pay for itself with improved mpg and power

Enjoy
