Hello Nathan, My MK 1 has a Mk 2 system, so I don't have a swirl pot. From the workshop manual it shows feed in from the tank at the 10 o'clock position, fuel out to the pump at the 6 o'clock position and vent to the tank filler neck at the 2 o'clock position. The only problem I envisage is orienting the swirl pot to match the illustration. I hope this is of some use.
