Can anyone tell me why the n/s rear wheel is closer to the arch than the o/s rear wheel,i`ve just had to re-convert my mk2 rear suspensioned mk1 back to mk1 rear trailing arms as i fitted a set of very rare dunlop alloys and the n/s was virtually touching the arch, the o/s still had a good half inch to spare, my other mk 1 has the same problem, why was it designed like this and is there a simple solution to resolve it.
