Mr E, I couldn't agree with Alex more. The register is only as good as the memebers that it supports. The register IS the membership. If members don't provide any information for the register then nothing will happen. John Cottrell would LOVE to get his hands on a juicy story and pictures about factory V8's, or hatchback whereabout's or other interesting cars that we ought to know more about. It's not that the register does'nt care, I would speculate that it is the members who don't care. Flippant remark I know, as there are loads of members of this club who put their heart and sole into in. Alex is one of those, and so I am. If you only knew how much time, effort and money (and I mean my personal money and the money of the the other directors of this club) went into this organisation you would refrain from making such comments as "the register does not care". Can I ask Mr E (I hate hidden identities by the way) when was the last time her wrote and article fo Six Appeal. When was the last time he attended a show, when was the last time he helped to build up and man a show stand, when was the last time he got a new member signed up, when was the last time he did anything for the good of HIS club. I rest my case. Hope this didn't turn into too much of a rant, but my blood boils when people criticise but are prepared to do nothing themselves. Thanks for your comment Alex, at least we know we do something right occasionally!! Rgds Alan Chatterton Deputy Chairman Triumph 2000/2500/2.5 Register
