Antony is right. This is not the place for this type of discussion. I would like to apologise for my rather hasty outburst. I am not saying that I do not believe what I just said, rather that I should not have said it on this page. Dave is right, you get out of the club what you put into it. Members like Alex and myself put an awful lot into this club. Other people, perhaps like Mr E don't put so much in, rather they expect a level of service in return for their annual membership fee. And quite rightly so. This is why we have AGM's so that members can check on who is running their club and how. If Mr E feels that the magazine is not supporting the interests of the club or him as a member then that is his right to have that opinion. I must say, it's an opinion that I must disagree with. I am also puzzled as to why this induvidual has'nt responsed to either of the personal "attaclks" launched at him by myself or Alex, perhaps we struck a nerve?> Either way, this is not a productive conversation to have on this site. Antony is quite correct, this is a discussion forum, for all discussions and Mr E was simply discussing and expressing his opinion. Perhaps the afore-mentioned gentleman would like to write an article on these vehicles and send it to us so that we can publish it is the magazine for all to share. Or perhaps he would like to attend the National in June 2004 (hint hint, I'm organising it!!! ) in Broadway, and then at the AGM he can volunteer his services as a board member, then he can help decide what goes in the mag! Excellent idea! Anyway, this is in danger of getting personal again, sorry! My point has been made, I think, perhaps we should move on........... Regards Alan Chatterton (no longer putting RON375G in my name as it upsets some people!!)
