Very happy with my PI now that it's running well but one wee naggle remains. To PI owners out there - what's your favoured way of getting the car to start as promptly as possible from cold? I'm not really complaining but I need to kick mine over three times to get a start, and I've tried a lot of choke / throttle permutations. The choke idle control seems okay (half out is 1500 revs) and the car warms quickly - the choke is never out for more than 2 mins, and then only open a crack. When warm, the car starts fine with part throttle. Any advice / words of wisdom / anecodotes? Round town consumption is 19mpg, 75+mph is 23mpg (could be better but...) Cheers all, Ken.
