Alex, A new problem to me too... although the self adjuster fell off my Stag and gave me no handbrake, a nasty screech from the drum and long pedal. And Alan.. I often drive my PI a bit like a teenager.. except with the power it now has I would have died young if I'd owned it at 18. 14.8 sec quarter mile last week (92.5 mph) I know Alex can beat this on his bike but compare it to other 4 wheeled devices and it measures up pretty well. This time equates to an honest 158 bhp at the wheels taking the weight of the car (much lightened) and driver into account (1155kg)
