550 bhp with 3000 pounds? I think that Jim will be very pleased when someone performs this experiment. VTRs, even clio V6 will have a hard time. I would like to see their faces when realising that their HONDA RSX-INTEGRA-CIVIC was beaten by a classic car :) Of course you have to change gearboxes, breaks, wheels, shocks-springs...It needs a serious job. Not to mention that the body was designed to handle 132 bhp..It needs lots of frame stiffening for coping with murcielago spec engine! If you have a link showing a person who did this update to rover engine post it...i am eager to see it. Personally i would be pleased with a 2.5 with 2 or 4 carbs and the modifications jamie suggested. TR6 with standard 150bhp engine do 0-60mph at 8.2 secs.Maybe 2.5+carbs+exhaust+cam+manifold setup could do it in 7-7.5 secs.not bad i say!
