VISITORS TRABANT PICS - THANKS GUYS |

Back in the dim and distant days of 1989, Geoff took the following photographs as he was amazed that this East Berlin car park was full of the same type of car. Boy were those the happy days for the Trabant. Okay, a couple of Skodas, Ladas and Wartburgs pollute this near perfect utopia, but you can't have everything I suppose.
The following two pictures were taken by Carl Freeland who suggested that in the communist days anyone who had a black and pink Trabant would be sent to Siberia. Hmm, haven't planned my holidays yet so you never know your luck!
The next pictures were taken by Henk Esselink (A Triumph owner from Holland) who spotted this fine beastie near Berlin.
Henk also took these photos of this poor Trabant being made an example of, no doubt for crimes committed to society, at the Duths Truckerday.
Henk once again, but this time showing that not all Trabants are slow.
Having some spare time, Henk has trawled this lot from the net and other places. If any of you have any objection to me showing them, drop me a line and I'll either remove them or give credit to the originators of the files.
